Besa holds a BS in Economics from Texas Tech University and a MSc in Financial Engineering from Lehigh University. She brings hands-on expertise across AI & quantitative research, blockchain analytics, and renewable energy finance. She is the architect of the Rehoboth Solar Feasibility Engine and the Rehoboth Intel Agent.
As the first chess recipient of a Botswana National Sports Council elite scholarship to study in the United States, Besa brings a lived understanding of both the opportunities and constraints shaping Southern African development. She spoke at ETHDenver 2026 on tokenized securities and the U.S. housing crisis, and regularly publishes crypto & investment leaning commentary reports.
Besa is also a FIDE Woman Chess Master and founder of an annual international women's chess tournament in Botswana. She is a multi-time continental girls' chess champion and has played for the Botswana National Chess Team at both the Continental and Olympiad level.
